What is Diamond Art?

Diamond painting is a creative craft where you "dot" small, faceted resin diamonds onto a sticky canvas to create a sparkling image. It’s similar to paint-by-numbers or a mosaic, but with no paint and no glue required!

Each diamond painting kit comes complete with everything you need to finish your artwork, making it easy to get started right away.

What’s Included in a Diamond Art Kit?

Every kit contains:

  • More than enough diamond drills to complete your painting
  • A clearly colour-coded canvas with printed symbols
  • A pen applicator for placing the diamonds
  • A wax strip to help the pen pick up each diamond
  • A small tray to hold and organise your diamonds

The canvas is pre-coated with a strong adhesive and protected by a thin film. This means no extra glue is needed—simply peel back the film and start creating immediately.

When you’re not working on your painting, you can safely roll it up (with the diamonds facing outward) and store it away. The process is clean, neat, and mess-free.

DIY Diamond Painting Steps

  1. Open the box and check that all kit contents are included.
  2. Choose a diamond colour based on the symbol chart and pour it into the tray.
    Tip: Working with several diamonds of the same colour at once helps you work faster.
  3. Find the matching symbol on the canvas and place the correct diamond onto each symbol until that section is complete.
  4. Once finished, place a few books on top of the canvas for a short while to help the diamonds settle firmly.
  5. Congratulations! Your diamond painting is now ready to be framed and proudly displayed in your home.
